About the course

Course 6 of the Primary Care Physical Therapy Certificate completes the lifespan coverage the certificate is built around. The pediatric module covers developmental and growth plate screening, the common musculoskeletal presentations and the few diagnoses you cannot miss, concussion, whole child concerns, and the safeguarding duty around non-accidental trauma. The geriatric module covers comprehensive geriatric assessment and the four Ms, frailty and falls, atypical presentation and the three Ds, sensory and driving safety, and advance care planning. Function is the through-line, and exercise is the through-line treatment. Each module pairs a video with a knowledge check. Included with your BrainSmith membership.
